G'Day Paul,
On 30/11/96, Paul Edwards said to Jason Meaden the following :
PE> Hi Jason. Just thought I'd let you know that I thought it was pretty
PE> silly of IBM to say in the documentation "Requires a Pentium
100" or
PE> whatever to run Voice. Instead of adding "(or compatible)", or
PE> something, to let people know that it really is OK to go out and buy
PE> an IBM Cyrix 686 screamer. BFN. Paul.
IMHO you get much better performance from a genuine Pentium.
PE> P.S. Someone called me about the problem I raised, but they didn't
PE> leave the answer on my answering machine, they just told me to ring
PE> back, which I did, but I didn't hear from them again. Do you know
PE> what the answer is on the 14.4 meg FAT cache? I'll have to see if
PE> the problem is in Warp 4. I haven't installed it yet.
Problem was corrected with Fixpack 12. You should have received a netmail from me.
Regards,
Jason Meaden.
