It did not run here remotely.
This is how I did it:
In menus.ctl:

     Xtern_Run         wave\wave2_/d=c:\max\door.sys_/n1   AsstSysOp 
"Test"

My max-dir is c:\max
Wave is in c:\max\wave (with the wave.ini and node1.ctl file)

This is in my max.log:

# 12 Nov 17:52:01 MAX  Extern programma: "wave\wave2

: 12 Nov 17:52:08 MAX  Terug van: "wave\wave2 /d=c:\max\door.sys /n1" (6)

That was me, calling from another place to my system.
The only thing I could see, was maximus saying that an extern program was
started and a few moments later that program was ready. I did not see
anything from Wave :-(

I was surprised that I had to configure a comm-port in makectl.exe, because
Maximus (OS/2) puts a comm-HANDLE in the door.sys file:

COM6:
115200
8
1
N
[...]

I use COM2..

So here tha adventure ends.

Locally the program works fine.
