| subject: | Domestic x2 SDL Avail in Australia |
Russell, at 10:52 on Mar 14 1997, you wrote to Bill Grimsley... BG> I spoke with Keith of USR just yesterday, and he informed me that a new BG> Austel Courier SDL is imminent. He reckons 6-8 weeks for the US-coded BG> version with the x2 option built-in (but NOT enabled), RB> And so the x2 that Australia is getting will be identical to RB> the US Version!!! Presumably, although we didn't actually discuss that at all. I'm far more interested in Lucent's proposed new protocol which connects at speeds as high as 43kbps on standard analogue lines (and judging by the way their shares have almost doubled in value over the last fortnight, so are a lot of other people).
