| subject: | Domestic x2 SDL Avail in Australia |
Peter, at 10:06 on Mar 17 1997, you wrote to Bill Grimsley... BG> I spoke with Keith of USR just yesterday, and he informed me BG> that a new Austel Courier SDL is imminent. PC> That does sound like good news but why aren't i hopeful :-( Probably for much the same reason that I flatly refuse to buy ANY Austel approved modem. Oddly, this Dynalink/Sportster clone which I'm currently running (and still consider to be the BEST value 33k6 modem on the market at ~$140) is claimed to be approved, yet ATI4 indicates that it's running the same US/Canada EPROM code which USR had to have altered. Go figure... PC> ... Paleface speak with forked tongue A completely random tag? Somehow, I think not... :) Regards, Bill --- MsgedSQ/2 3.50* Origin: Logan City, SEQ (3:640/305.9) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/99 620/243 623/630 625/155 640/201 206 230 305 306 311 702 SEEN-BY: 640/820 821 822 823 829 711/401 413 430 934 712/311 407 505 506 517 SEEN-BY: 712/623 624 628 704 841 888 713/317 714/906 772/20 800/1 @PATH: 640/305 820 712/624 711/934 |
