It was the pee pills (Lasix/furosemide) - not the Lisinopril or Norvasc.

I am told that it is common that enforced diuretics like Lasix cause the
onset of Type II diabetes. But, in my case - not taking the pee pills would
result in me drowning in my own juices.

DH is doing the right thing by treating his blood pressure (which I
ignored) before it causes problems such as mine.
