G'day John

Since asking i've read a magazine article explaining it all, they
mention it's popular with the US Teleco's to get back at the cable
co's cheap HS access, They also say as the Teleco's and cable co's are
one in the same out here we mightn't see it at all. :-(

JH> Typically it needs an ADSL "modem" at the customer end to

Guess whether it's PSTN, ISDN or ADSL we'll need some kind of device
(modem) to connect. As for me i'd be happy with affordable 28k8 access
out here in the country.

     Pete.
