On a bucket of Quikcrete I have, it indicates 4.5 parts of powder to one
part water (they don't say if by weight or volume). If that is consistent
with the other forms of plaster, it would indicate that at most 1/5.5 of
the final result could be the added water.
That would come out to at least 2.0 as the amount of the final specific
gravity attributable to the original powder (given Dominic's numbers), or
about 0.07 lbs / cubic inch. Goran may want to try something then in that
range...
but then report the result back to us. (I have a vested interest here...
that's why I pursued the question further.)
