NO CARRIER In fact you DO have 2 more. ...comm3 and comm4 reset your internal modem to com3 IRQ5 (if the sound card is not using IRQ5....If it is then your internal modem might let you use IRQ7 (the printer does not really use that even though it is assigned) Now just enable the real comm2 on your I/O card or in the BIOS of your motherboaard and use comm2 for your external modem.
