Ta.  I'm still curious if V.29 was later respecified or updated, or if V.17
etc 'adapted' its techniques to 2-wire switched mode?  Not a big deal ..

Ah, which answers someone else's question about EC for fax .. this is
adding data link layer stuff to V.29, or perhaps rather its use by .. ?
