Does your mixer have options like 'inherit DOS settings' and/or 'restore DOS settings on exit' or somesuch? If so, turn these off, especially the latter. For my card (PAS16) it's set in Control Panel / Drivers / (my mixer) / Setup. BG> Am I missing something? Do others find this? Till I found out how to stop it, yes :) I also occasionally use a one-button zapper icon set up for my OS/2 mixer (MiniMix in this case) which restores my standard OS/2 settings, should they get mucked around by something else.
