So far, I've made a 12.5 inch f5.9 dob, and a 6.25 inch f10.2
"Alice" like scope, plus odds and ends like a laser collimator, a
grinding table.

As for now, I haven't quite decided. I have two 12.5 inch blnks sitting
around the garage, and am forming some ideas there. Maybe a bino, maybe a
fast scope?

I've been even tinkering with the idea of an 8 inch "sit-in"
binoscope, kind of like one I saw on the web some years ago. I think the
builder named it "Thor" or something like that. Anyone know if
that beast still exists?

The idea would be to have a seat, surrounded by the optics.
The entire assembly would be powered by a laptop and you would either tell
it where to go, or use the laptop to guide yourself around. I have to look
into safety issues though, and do some ergo studies.

That may be a pipe dream, but I keep on thinking about it.
