Go to the nearest river and take a picture of that. Then publish it and ask
us what we think it will look like in three more hours.....based on the
picture you just took.

That's what you are doing, or attempting to do. The rule of thumb for
polishing is one hour for every inch of diameter. During the next three
hours that whole surface is going to change radically.

Check back with us then. Right now it looks great for an underpolished
mirror with a soft mound in the middle that will go away with a little
emphasis.
