To: Reply-To: "Scott Berfield" Woohoo - Just entered my latest 4 sets of data and I end up with PV of 1/10.29 and a strehl of .967 There is a lot of variability in my readings, but this is a lot more promising than it looked earlier this week. I will be taking a lot more data over the next couple of days to make sure, but the end is in sight. Question: How precise should I really be shooting for? This is a 12" f4.5 intended mainly for deep sky imaging. While I have a perfectionist side, I also want this to get done - and I know the closer I get, the more likely I am to screw it up. Also, anyone got a suggestion for a quick and dirty star test rig? My tube assembly won't be reay for a couple of weeks. Thanks for all the help. -sb --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Email Gate (1:379/100) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/100 1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
