    If you have another phone on the same line that carries a battery
    for the purpose of retaining programmed entries, I would suggest
    that it be taken off (the same line) and try another test run...

    Some of these phones draw current at specific intervals for
    recharging of batteries, thus causing a drop in a regulated
    current flow ...
