From: "Peter" To: Reply-To: "Peter" Although it was a terrible thing to happen it was certainly an experience I will always remember. Good thing we had candles stashed away. It so cool because many people in our neighbourhood stood outside talking, drinking beer and everyone was looking up at the sky. The milky way and meteor shower were quite beautiful. I had the chance to point out constellations to children and our neighbours. I also set up my 12.5" scope and we looked at Mars, the moon, M13, M27 and M57. It was also the first time I have ever seen Sagittarius from the city. By 11:30 the moon washed it all away...
