My immediate response to creating a limit to the number of echoes one can
have would be that there's nothing stopping someone from listing them under
a different name and such, since it's so easy to get on Fidonet these days
via the internet.
 
But then I realized this is in fact Fidonet, and that I doubt anyone is
going to be that sneaky just for a few echoes!
