Hi all

I was hoping that your collective minds would come up with a fix for a new
smartmodem 288 that is very noisy and can't be shut up.

It seems that Netcomm want it back in the factory to do a "hardware
fix".  It sounds like they will pull the connections off the speaker
and send it back.

I think I will do it - the thing keeps the baby awake!!

Thank you all.  Hopefully one day I will be ina position to return the favours.
