I am still working on my advanced, which will qualify me to run repeaters (and other unattended equipment), run high power (1KW), and attract snugglebunnies. But I am otherwise fully-functional from DC to Daylight. It's really not difficult to get your licence these days. Industry Canada makes available exam testing programs you can download to test how you are doing with your studying, etc. SM> I think I am still "scarred" by the demise of OS/2, eh? I've stopped really paying attention to the latest inovations in hardware. Instead, I'm concentrating on software, mostly servers, and content. I've been working on an interactive novel, using wiki technology hosted off my web server. I do find some of the toys interesting, however -- digital cameras, ipods, external HDD. Much more interesting than processor specs, and much more real-life useable. Hey, another question on the origin line question... does your gateway strip everything including the tearline, or just the origin line? I could add some of my origin line wit to the tagline library, or the tearline. It's been a while since I did fido coding, so don't expect some nifty tool to do auto-origin duplication. ...
