Did you fit the rom yourself? If so, did you order the right rom? there are
several versions for different revision PCB's.... the right rom must be
matched to the right version of the PCB...!

Are you sure you didn't damage something else whilst fitting the ROM?

If maestro did the upgrade for you (or even if not) call them and send your
modem in for repair...! something's not quite right, mate!!
