Agreed, and being pots only I still implement security procedures just as
we all did back a decade or more ago when I was involved. IN fact, my
primary uplink and i agree on that point.

FOr awhile I belonged to another fidonet technology network.  Had to badger
the coordinator of that net who was my feed to implement session and other
passwording. Imho in these days of internet connected systems security
schemes we have in place are even more necessary.
