-=> Quoting Larry Eggers to Peter Coggon <=-
LE> Quite welcome, Pete. I like to help out when I can. Then again,
LE> that pretty much defines the role of sysop.
It is too bad a few sysops could not learn from what you have just
written. Especially in those BBSes, where the Sysop is called
a System Manager, and then has Online Mentors..or as I have experienced
them ... "Online Mentals" and swell headed hosts.
I had a dialup BBS here...but well after retirement and the pc
going dead, I have not got around to making a new stab at it.
I have Wildcat ver4.20 .... On the other hand....I also have
the FBB bbs ver515c going for ham radio packet...but stand alone
for only local stuff.
Carry on Larry...Thank you for being a sysop. It was always
a thankless "job".
regards
Peter
