I don't have a problem with the FAL. Rick appearently saw some
problems with it during his service in the 22nd SAS Regiment. The two
that I've fired, seemed to be quite reliable, but I don't own one and
the number of rounds that I've fired in these have been rather limited.
I do think that we could have designed a better rifle, but I
don't think that we can now. From what I've seen, the US is fast losing
it's competency to design weapons.
