Anyroad, in many pictures of wild meese, the moose is accompanied by
two or more moosettes[1].  However, I do not think we are talking
about bigamy and all it's negative moral and legal baggage.  Rather,
I think these are simply examples of practical polygamy.

Who knows how well polygamy works in more civilized areas?  I've never
had the chance to quiz a polygamous Mormon moose, but apparently the
practice is becoming rare.     ...Or, is that factoid just some sort
of politically correct PR move?

Your needing to ask the question may provide a clue, but this one of
those times when you really need to meditate and consult your own
Inner Moose.  Does it feel right to you?  ...To her?

Interesting question, tho.  What is natural, anyway.  Is doing "what
comes naturally" either practical or moral for the urban moose?  When
we look at all those folks practicing monogamy, maybe we're looking at
folks who are going against nature -- unless we believe that
social environment and personal willpower can overcome heredity!

Oh yes!  We mustn't forget the possibility that True Love might come
along and allow us to live happily ever after with the moosette[1] of
our dreams.  After all, that _does_ happen.  Right?


[1]  Please note that I'm using the term "moosette" in a totally
non-sexist, sensitive, supportive, new-millennium sort of way, eh?
