Glenn, your message made it though to the echo on this end only because the
y2k corrector (PktDate.exe) at this end undid the botched date field. 
Perhaps your Spitfire editor isn't Y2K compliant?  The date line looked
something like "652303 Jan 08".  Might want to check that.  

BTW, same thing with a message you sent to the Cats_Meow echo.
