Hi Joe! Well as long as it is still out there running maybe we could
make use of it ;-)

I've been a diabetic for over 10 years now. I like to pick up hints and
recipes. My biggest problem is if I don't stay on a low Carb diet, even
if I watch my calories, I find myself in trouble. I ended up in the
Hospital once for ketoacidosis. They found I wasn't kidding. If I ate
the hospitals normal diabetic diet. My blood sugar was still up there.
My problem with low carb is watching the calories with the fat in meat.
It's tough to be a diabetic. I guess it has come a long way, but it is
still tough for an indvidual who has it to stay on top of things.

I take 5 shots a day and have to measure prick myself 4 times a day to
monitor my Blood Sugar
