Good point. I certainly don't mind pleasant surprises. Why, next
thing you know, I may find the long lost snugglebunny of my youth!

Yes, all those good things would impact on priorities. ...Keeping
our priorities straight, I'll mainly offer my congratulations on your
marriage!

I've never had both the money and time, together, but that's something
I've wanted to do for decades. (I do a little SWL, tho.) So, did you
go the whole route and learn Morse Code?

I dunno? I mess around with Linux, some, but I seem to be losing my
sense of adventure when it comes to computers. I still have a
tendency to build my own desktop computers amd upgrade the hardware,
but I'm tired of learning new operating systems, or needing to upgrade
the software every few years. I think I am still "scarred" by the
demise of OS/2, eh? Anyroad, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be
able to call myself a computer hobbyist. Why, I'm actually running
M$ Windows quite a bit of the time. Very embarrassing, eh?

PH> You mean "the horrour, the horrour!", don't you?

In an ideal world, yes. I'm a firm believer in the importance of the
letter "U" to Canadian Culture, but unfortunately I've been worn down
by the commonly available spell checkers...

In this case, it's a "fake" or "modified" origin line
that is needed.
Or, just saving the wit for the tagline, which seems a loss...

Nope, it is a very basic gateway package and it is no longer supported
by the author. It did have the advantage of being easy to set up and
working well under Linux. Meanwhile, since I'm only gating a couple
low volume echo to/from a couple low message volume newsgroups, there
is no real incentive to look for another gateway package. Inertia
rules!
