Hello, Thom.

Mine spikes pretty strong when I mow my yard (takes about two hours to get
the job done), however, in an hour or so after I get done, the BG level
drops dramatically-sometimes 200+ points for me. Plus I get that wonderful
"worked hard, tired but satisfied" feeling. The yard itself is
hilly so holding the lawnmower on a 15% grade can be tricky at times. :)

I wish I could get the VA to allow me to see an endo; my nurse (I don't
even rate to see a doctor, I guess) refuses. She's got some really bizarre
ideas on diabetes treatment. Combine that with the financially niggardly
director of the hospital, a rather lousy formulary (know people in the
pharmacy) and overall "rush-rush" mentality and you get a lousy
combo.
With that being said, with my pharmacy technician training and access to
research material, I think that suppliments are good to help with the
diabetes, that being my own personal opinion. :)
I'd rather die trying to make things better than to be a slouch.
Later,
Sean
