I just got a Canon Bubble Jet  BJ-200ex for $188 + tax. Thats new in box
from Office Depot. Its probably last years model or something. Man am I
impressed!  Its fast and the print is razor sharp. Of course this is
coming from someone who used a Star NX1001 (piece of cr*p 9-pin). It
prints laser uality plain text much faster than the Star in draft
mode.
It printed great text and graphics with Calamus SL Demo. Gemview
printed great graphics with GDOS. It prints regular ascii text with
its own built in fonts. Had to set one dip switch to have it do it
automatically. Pagestream 1.8 demo printed great with the printer in
Epson LQ mode (the default).
This or one like it is one to get if you need a printer.
