I've been having trouble getting com2 to work.
After 2 days of fiddling with different things it turns out my network card
was set for irq 3 same as com2.
The nic is now on irq 11 and com2 is back to normal.
During my fiddling I was trying things like echo at > com2 to try
and get some response from the modem.
I must have done something wrong cause now I have a file called com2 on my
disk. It is 6 bytes long but I don't know whats in it cause I can't view
or delete or anything. I get access denied message.
I would have thought with com2 being a reserved system name it would be
impossible to create such a file, but it's there.
How do I get rid of it???????????
By the way, the fun started when I installed Warp 4.
Cheers
Jeff.
