Re: Looking for old game CyberAreana By: Joe Schweier to Chris Anclien on Mon Oct 03 2005 03:53 pm > Sounds like BRE Not at all similar. In this game you would choose, "Oceanic," or "Volcanic," and then you would be given an ANSI-graphic terrain. You would place a HQ somewhere on that terrain, and generate money to buy these attack things (reminded me of the walkers in Star Wars) that you could then move a certain amount of squares per day across the screen via the number pad (like movement in The Pit or LORD 2) and try to get past other people's defenses and to their HQ. I don't recall ever seeing another game like it, but if it was a clone of something, I'd like to check out the original. I wonder if this game was created in Hong Kong and never got released too wide because I can't find any references to it anywhere, or on the BBS archives or anything. Excellent game. Never did get to play a registered version though, that would have been even better. ...
