The most probable cause that I can think of is his computer's clock got set
forward by accident somehow causing all players to timeout the next time they
loaded the game.

The next most likely possibility is there was a password leak there and someone
mass-abdicated everyone.....  but who knows?

Another thing to note, I logged into venomslair.no-ip.org (one of their
addresses that isn't as advertised), and I talked to the sysop, and apparently,
his normal address stopped working for a few days and he was unaware of any
problems in FE.
