Gronk!

BBSing these days is almost an exercise in nostalgia.  Meanwhile, one
of the ongoing MooseChat traditions is my writing periodic messages
that are apologies for not writing messages.  However, while not
writing here, this time I can assure you that I was still working
towards keeping MooseChat going...    Trust me!   

Part of my time was trying to verify whether Mad Moose Mike had
managed to get his new domain name and telnet server going for the
"Kananaskis Bogs Herd" located near Calgary, Saudi Alberta.  While I
now know the new domain name and have checked Mike's new web site, at
last check the telnet server was not available.

I did have better luck while chatting with former MooseChat regular
CarlMoose Bennett, and have his permission to post into MooseChat some
of the examples of Canadian Culture that CarlMoose has been writing at
the uncyclopedia.org "spoof" web site.  While it won't be quite
the same, we'll at least get a taste of some of MooseChat political
satire that CarlMoose is know for...

Meanwhile, I note that I still "owe" Paul Henry and Peter Coggon
messages in the "Gronk ?" conversational thread.     ...Should be
Real Soon Now, eh?
