Don't know how much longer it's going to last here! It seems like
the media has been reporting MANY more instances of 'nut case'
incidents in the last few months. Every time I hear this I cringe,
and mentally curse at these perps for giving the pro-ban camps more
'ammo'. I'm still not convinced that it's not a tactic of certain
organizations (perhaps even govt) - bringing these incidents about
in order to sway public support for their agenda.
I wish there were more reports of the situations where GOs had
been able to morally defend their families and houses, and the
general public in events of random (deadly) violence.
I'm concerned that if the situation were to arise (say at a
local 'fast food') and I were to give my life to stop some
maniac with an Uzi, how would the story be reported, if at all !?
OR would the headline read "Honor among thieves!", and imply that
because I was carrying - I *MUST* have been there for the same
reason, to perp a violent act (ie rob the place)! :(

This is a bit off topic for this echo, but I've shut off GUNS and
FIREARMS here do to the ammount of traffic. I want to reply to
this but I'll make it short and the last.
I hadn't considered the 'Lazer Tag' technology, but why not !?!
What would be nice would be if instead of having to use a limited
version of arms, if a lazer unit were provided that would attach to
the persons regular carry weapon and allow the normal leather to
be used, and the scenarios were less of an 'all out combat' one
and more a possible everyday defensive setting, it would be GREAT!
