I'm also type 2 with hypertension.  The bloood pressue is under control,
but I'm having a difficult time with the blood sugar.

My doc tells me that the combination of little exercise due to flying a
desk and some infections and physical trauma is jacking up the blood sugar.

Like you, I was in the 300 range when I first went to doc.
