I have internet access through a freenet system.  They say its a modified 
Gophe
For the next couple of months I have to do quite a bit of commuting for my
job so I have not had the time to learn how to really utilize this system.
Apparently it will allow me to connect to all the various sites, like FTP
and WWW, including mailing lists.
Can you tell me how to access the internet list for polio survivors?
I'd like to get on a mailing list of some sort.
