Greetings, Ld!!
While you were muttering to All, , you spake thusly:
LW> Well, I've been lurking again, actually I've been lurking for the last
LW> few minutes. Have been too busy to even log in and lurk for the past
LW> several weeks.
I know the feeling..
LW> I see there is some activity, but light, sure miss the old crowd that
LW> was here. Guess as Tom says, most have migrated to the I'net list. I'm
LW> sure it is a good way to communicate (I do use it) but the group here
LW> seemed to be more close knit and better aquainted.
I think there are a number of folks "lurking" as well, LD, with
everyone waiting for the next guy to say something..
LW> I would like to hear from others about their experience with the fatigue
LW> and recovery process encountered when a victim of PPS.
LW> I'm curious if others experience the same routine I do.
LW> When I have become fatigued, it seems that even though I have slept for
LW> ten or more hours, I may remain fatigued for several days or more.
Me, too - Except i can't get back to sleep unless it's between 3 PM
and 7 PM (for a Nap), then I end up staying up to 1-2+ AM and the durn
cycle strts all over again.. :-(
LW> Something strange seems to occur when I recover my stamina. I will have
LW> aching in my legs, a trembling feeling (although the trembling is not
LW> visible), and a weak feeling in the legs.
This is not uncommon.. And, Last night (as fairly often) I got hit
with a Spasm (or Charlie-horse) in my GOOD leg at about 5 AM - One of
those leap-outa-bed, grab-calf and rub-like-he** things.. :-)
Leg still sore this afternoon....
LW> Within about a twenty to thirty minute period, the symptoms just
LW> disappear. This may occur in the afternoon after feeling ugh all
LW> morning. (I still am working full time, although I'm not sure for how
LW> much longer)
LW> How about it? Does anyone else have this seemingly (at least to
LW> me) strange routine of fatigue and recovery?
Yup - it is cyclical around here..
LW> Tom, please cross post to the I'net list if you would like, I haven't
LW> found the time yet to learn how to post there.
Sure will - including the comments i inserted, if OK.. :-)
I DID post the how-to's a few times here in this POST_POLIO Echo - Do
you want me to re-post? - Will do, if needed.. (Or, just let me know
what problems you are experiencing) :-)
LW> Thanks for any info L.D.
LW> ldwalker@why.net
LW> P.S. Tom McKeever what is the location of your I'net home page? I
LW> found it once, but can't seem to locate it again.
The MAIN address is "http://spacecon.net", LD - Links go in all
directions from there and the sub-pages..
Take care!!
Tom..
