Sure, but it doesn't hurt to do some implementation tests along the way,
since that's a good way of getting feedback on what works in the real world
and what doesn't. Otherwise we might end up with "hmm, why didn't we
think of this when we designed the format?" when we start doing the
actual coding.

Is there a proposal available somewhere to look at? I've made a testing
(proof of concept) XML nodelist but it definately needs more thought (it
doesn't even have ip info yet).
