Ahhh. Thanks Sammy. One problem fixed. Thanks. I didn't know
about this possibility. Of course, it makes compiling TSE macros
much pleasanter as well.

There must be a way for the calling program to force the console
to open in a window. That should probably either be the default
or at least an option from within TSE. (I know ... so many
options, so little time.)

Now I can work on the problem of pausing the return from DOS.
That is actually a less serious problem, because I can always
have TSE load the log file automatically. With Tex, that isn't a
desirable solution, because the log file contains too much
information --- much more information that the screen directed
progress report from the compiler. It is not something that you
want to look at unless you need to for some reason. I don't want
to redirect the compiler output, because I want to see the output
as it happens in real time. Is it possible to Tee the output, so
that it goes to a file and simultaneously to the screen?

Thanks again,
John Frampton
