Hello, John.

Don't drop FOSSIL support-you'll alienate about 90% of your userbase and
I'm sure you don't want to do that. I am experienced in writing BBS doors
in Pascal m'self. Currently, I'm using eDoor (DOS/16) for all of my doors
because I have had one hell of a time getting /ANY/ doorkit using the
EleCOM source to work right all the time.

I've used the following doorkits:

D32
XDoor 3.00/3.01
FreeDoor
MannDoor

All based on the EleCOM sources (and a lot of that contains Thomas
Mueller's work!) and all have problems working correctly, especially under
OS/2 (which all of them claim to support well). That's why I completely
gave up cross-compiling anything and am using eDoor. eDoor was written by
Tom Fotherby (dink) who knows what the hell he's doing in Pascal and OS/2.
Sadly, Tom will not release his OS/2 doorkit, which is a wonder unto itself
as to what it can do. So, I use his DOS stuff and it works fine, no
problems.

I'm using Borland Pascal to do the majority of the work in. I have a
patched TP7 here, but I prefer BP because it runs faster on my system.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I'll see what I can do.

Later,
Sean
