My Second model Maynard carbine was stolen from my apartment.  I noticed
it missing shortly after some repairs were done to the apartment when I
wasn't home.
I'll skip the rest of the sob story but before you buy a second model
Maynard please check the serial number.  Mine was made in 1865 and the
serial number is 22901.
