Looking back thru the list I spotted the following from Greg Macdonald
under the subject "Re: Keeping tse.ui virgin" (a very useful
thread) on 2003-01-22:
>#warn(off, 1106) // Ignore sc32.exe's "Duplicate key defined...
ignored"
>// ... tse key assignments
>#warn(restore)
I thought this a very interesting use of 'warn', but don't understand the
implementation.
The first line completely baffles me. I can't find anything in the manual
to explain what's happening. The 'off' variable is a standard predefined
term; 'restore' (in the second instance) is not (='on'?). Presumably the
"Duplicate key defined... ignored" messages are being turned off,
but what is the '1106' integer doing? Disabling that specific message? If
so, where do you find this information? I prefer to disable error messages
when I anticipate ignoring them so the ones I see I know are arising from
unanticipated situations.
