As this message goes out to my mail feed, an areafix to turn off this echo
(and all others), will go too.  Later this week, I'll be shutting down
IRONSIDES BBS and concentrating on my home page and the internet.
I'll miss all of you, especially Tom & Warren, but I don't have the energy,
time or resources to do it all.  By shutting down my BBS, I'll save enough in
long distance charges to pay for my internet account.
I guess this means the job of co-moderator is open and up for grabs.  Someone
please jump in and volunteer for it.  Tom is the greatest person in the world
to work with and you'll have a ball as co-moderator.
I've been around POST_POLIO since 1992 and have been co-moderator for most of
that time.   Some of you will remember the days when I was talking to myself
day after day to just keep it going.  When you think of that, let yourself
giggle a little bit.  I do!
Hope I see you around the internet!  I've already subscribed to the
alt.support.post-polio newsgroup.  For some reason, I haven't been able to
configure Netscape so I can post to it, but I'm reading and lurking and will
get it figured out pretty soon.
