Might you not be regularly inserting the dates up it ?

When I was very small, I would not have believed that I'd end up 
being so old that I'd buy anything that needed weekly up-dating to 
keep it doing what I thought I'd bought it for....

Or a thing which, without a nod from me, rings its maker to get 
another bit of what I thought I had already bought...

I have a naughty Lotus S7 motor vehicle which never, ever emulates 
the reliability of Microsoft - imagine being confronted at the end 
of the Pukekohe straight doing 250kph with an ERROR message about 
some need to REBOOT the braking system....

Arggh !!
