I hadn't known about Carlo's undojump macro, even though I have wanted
this functionality for some time. I'm quite excited to try it out when
I get a chance.
As I understand it, the problem with undojump (apart from the limited
stack size) appears to be that it can't account for text edits in its
stored positions. But AFAIK, the bookmark system *does* account for
edits.
I'm thinking I might play around with undojump to see if it can be made
to use bookmarks internally for its position stack. Since I practically
never use bookmarks myself, the loss of them for other purposes wouldn't
affect me.

two point four three one birds, by my calculations, captain.
