I use version 20 something of NT Emacs on a daily basis. For most editin=
g
tasks I turn to TSE. Why? Fast, Fast, Fast. Emacs has it all (it really=
does)
but on a WinNT/2000 PC, TSE runs rings around it. I don't know how TSE w=
ould
compare to Emacs on a Linux/Unix OS, but leaving out the Emacs kitchen si=
nk
might give TSE an edge for many tasks. I have to admit I do like the Ema=
cs
key-bindings...and TSE didn't seem to mind when I burned a Emacs configur=
ation
file into it to simplify my life.
