Yup.  I definitely have started that route.  My last few doors only supported
FOSSIL.

The original FOSSIL library I have that works from the old days is a
huge-library of comm routines that I don't have the source for.  Elecom
appeals because it's very straightforward and simple.  From what I can tell
the interrupt requests for it look perfect, so I'm still trying to figure out
what's not working.  Most likely it's the compiler.
