Elecom isn't a doorkit, it's a communications library - just like ASYNC
is.  My doorkit uses the comm library to output stuff to the remote terminal.

I have an older copy of Async, which is actually used by a few of my
products.  Not sure if there's an older version that would compile under
multiple platforms, but I'll check into it - thanks for the suggestion.
