Yes, that's the one. Thanks.

vertcurs.zip1079 08-21-95A small macro to create temporarily a vertical
cursor for (for example) the lining-up of do,for,etc.-loops.

Personal opinion is what I was after and was what I got---not to signify

future input. Very much appreciated.
I'm currently still astraddle the fence. I've tried the classic "live", (on
the job), for three days and found very little lacking from my customized
classic UI in 2.8a except that I miss:
* my Ctrl-KD that saved and exited file.
* Chris Antos version of grep that added many more options and an easy
key-binding for it. Potpourri is too many keystrokes deep for me.
* change the default directory with a key binding. Once again, potpourri is
too many keystrokes.
I also suspect the following would need to be added:
* a vertical cursor to check alignment. This may be built in, but I doubt
it. I haven't looked for it yet.
* my detab menu. Hard tabs should be illegal in code! Many set them to
different numbers of spaces than the "stock" 8. Horrid for indentation and
thus readability.
Bottom line, I am comfortable in the classic UI and the listed changes won't
be too tough. So now it's time to try the Win UI for a few days.
Very easy compile. Yup, Ctrl-c, v, and x do what is expected in
windows. Many thanks for easy interface switching!
