 The New York Metropolitan Filk Organization's Next Housefilk Will Be

* This is a nonsmoking household with cats in residence.  Space is
  available in the hall for smokers.  Refreshments will be available,
  and contributions welcomed.

To get there:

By Subway:     Take the E, F, G, or R trains to Roosevelt Avenue/74th
          Street, OR the 7 train to 74th Street/Roosevelt Avenue.  Get
          to street level (from the E,F,G,R, use the MIDDLE/
          NOT MANHATTAN END exit), and cross Roosevelt Avenue to the
          side with the Crazy Chicken (Pollo Loco al Carbon)
          restaurant.  This is 74th Street; continue along it to 35th
          Avenue (you will cross 37th Road and 37th Avenue along the
          way).  Turn LEFT on 35th Avenue, and enter the apartment
          complex along one of the paths past the gatehouse in the
          middle of the block.  We are in D Building, at the end of
          the path on the right.  Ring for D25; we are at the top of
          the stairs.

By Car:   From the South:  Take the BQE to the Northern Blvd. exit.
          Exit there and turn RIGHT.  Turn RIGHT again onto 73rd
          Street.  Go past the first traffic light and begin to look
          for parking.  We are located on 35th Avenue, the block with
          the second traffic light (see above for foot directions).
          From the North:  Take the BQE to Northern Blvd, as above.
          When exiting, turn LEFT, go several blocks, then turn RIGHT
          onto 73rd Street,  Go across Northern Blvd., then proceed as
          above.

Note:     There is a pay parking lot available on 75th Street close to
          37th Avenue (about 2-3 blocks).  Rates are reasonable.  (The
          area is fairly safe, but this option is recommended for cars
          with out-of-state plates.)
