I have been told $20 to upgrade, AK> but that seems a bit low, so if anyone knows the price to upgrade my AK> modem, please email me. thanks. I have upgraded my modem which was the plain vanilla E288FM-V to E336, for $20. The reason it is such a low cost is that only the ROM is changed, not the data pump (which is more expensive). Incidentally, if you check out the inside of your modem you'll see that its a 14.4 board. The only difference between a 14.4 and 33.6 would seem to be the data pump and ROM.
